Demat Account
Hold shares, bonds, ETFs and other securities electronically in an NSDL demat account, with JDA Capital Services Limited as your depository participant.
Hold Your Securities in Electronic Form
A demat account holds your securities electronically, so there are no paper certificates to store, transfer or lose.
Shares you buy are credited to your demat account after settlement, and shares you sell are debited from it. Benefits such as bonus shares are credited directly.
NSDL or CDSL sends you a consolidated account statement (CAS) for every month with a transaction, and at least once every six months, covering all your demat holdings and mutual funds.
Depository Services
JDA's depository services cover what you need to manage the holdings in your demat account.
Transfers
Move securities to another demat account through an off-market or inter-depository transfer, using a delivery instruction slip or an online instruction.
Nomination
Add, change or opt out of nomination for your demat account. SEBI rules allow up to ten nominees, each with a stated share.
Pledge
Pledge securities from your demat account as margin for trading. Pledges are created and released with OTP authorisation from the depository.
Transmission
Transfer securities to a nominee or legal heir after an account holder's death by submitting the transmission form, death certificate and other required documents.
Dematerialisation
Convert physical share certificates into electronic form by submitting them with a demat request form. The request is processed through the company's registrar.
Rematerialisation
Convert electronic holdings back into physical certificates through a remat request, where the issuer allows it.
Account Statements
Receive transaction and holding statements from JDA, and the consolidated account statement from the depository, by email or post.
Depository Participant Details
JDA Capital Services Limited is a SEBI-registered depository participant of NSDL.
